I've been in therapy with Kelly for over 8 months. The first question you ask yourself ... can and do I want to expose my soul to the person sitting opposite me? It is a requirement for effective treatment. From the very first moment that care was taken away. It clicked right away with Kelly.
The combination of professionalism and empathy, directness and understanding, with the necessary humour and the flexibility to always be available to you when you need it ... quickly creates a bond of trust.
Kelly has not only given me new insights and a good dose of self-confidence, but has also taken away a lot of anxiety from me. Moreover, the most important gain is to feel good about yourself.
When she moved to Austria, I had the feeling that a friend was going to emigrate and not my therapist. By now I have also found out that with the current modern means it is perfectly possible to communicate with each other, to maintain our bond and, if necessary, to be helped.
Thanks to Kelly's efforts, the latter has not been necessary yet!

I work in humanitarian aid and am regularly on long missions in remote areas abroad. When the relationship with my friend came to an end and I was looking for help from a Dutch psychologist, the online Skype sessions were ideal, they were very helpful. Moreover, it was very nice that the sessions could be planned in a flexible way so that I could combine them with my constantly changing agenda.

At first I had my reservations about communicating via Skype.
I've always had the idea that you see a psychologist (just like a doctor) in person. Thanks to the flexibility of the internet, I was able to attend all sessions in my own familiar environment. I have been in therapy with Kelly for about 6 months. Where I originally thought I was suffering from a behavioural disorder, the outcome turned out to be completely unexpected and surprising. The exercises and action plans have definitely helped me to gain more insight into myself and to take concrete steps.
I am very happy with the result and look forward to all the new opportunities that will arise in the short and long term.
