About me

My name is Kelly Veit. At the moment I live with my family in Austria.

After completing my studies in social work and mental health at the University of Maastricht, I have been working as a counsellor and psychologist for 11 years. What touches me most in my work is: making contact with people, listening to them, seeing them, offering safety and working together on awareness and improvement.

My strongest point is being empathetic. I find problem solving challenging and enriching. I'm patient, direct, motivating and I like to use humor.

In the Netherlands I have worked for various mental health care institutions as a recognised NIP psychologist. I have worked with different treatment techniques (CGT, ACT, EMDR, schematic therapy, mindfulness, group therapy and system therapy). In addition, I have extensive experience with the following target groups: anxiety disorders, chronic pain, compulsion disorders, trauma, eating disorders, mood disorders, burnout and developmental disorders.
