Intake conversation

After you have registered using the contact form, I will contact you (preferably via Skype) for an intake interview. During this meeting we will get to know each other and discuss together what your complaints are, what you are encountering, what your requests for help are and what your needs are.

 

Treatment plan

Following the intake interview, we will draw up a treatment plan together. This plan is a guideline for the treatment, but can always be adapted and adjusted if necessary.

 

Treatment

Then we start the treatment. An important part of the treatment is to adapt to your personal circumstances. Doing registration assignments and exercises in daily life are important to gain insight into complaints and patterns. The treatment consists partly of online conversations and partly of homework. Through homework you learn to apply what is discussed in the sessions in daily life and we save valuable time in the sessions. 

In the treatment I work with various forms of therapy, such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), mindfulness, motivational techniques, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), schematic therapy and EMDR.
